Neo grew up in the sleepy town of Malacca in Malaysia, and came to England in 2006 after winning a scholarship to study in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London.
After graduation, she started her career working in the Technology division in Bank of America Merrill Lynch, as a third line support and developer for an award winning liquidity management product. After two and a half years there, she moved division internally within BAML into a front office technology role supporting Structured Credit Technology products.
Neo decided to join the Master in Finance programme at London Business School to expand her financial knowledge and pursue the corporate finance concentration in order to follow her ambition to work in investment banking. She is the academic representative for her class and has been awarded the London Business School Open Scholarship.
