Sloan joined London Business School (LBS) following an international career in management consulting. As an Engagement Manager at McKinsey, Sloan advised both public and private sector travel and transportation organisations on strategy and commercial execution. He also worked with principal investors to evaluate acquisitions in travel, transport and aerospace. Additionally, he analysed UAV (“drone”) regulation strategies on behalf of governments.
During his career, he has worked with 10+ airlines and leading hotel, casino, and logistics players across Europe, North America, and Latin America. Before joining McKinsey, Sloan worked at Seabury Group and participated in corporate planning related to restructuring at American Airlines.
Sloan’s professional work in transportation builds on research conducted in Brazil on the privatization of airports and multi-modal transport policy as part of his undergraduate degree at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs.
Sloan chose to attend LBS to live in London and pursue professional opportunities unique to this global hub of technology, finance, and industry. Beyond the classroom, he can be found leading events for Infrastructure & Construction Club or swimming laps in LBS’s on-campus pool.
