My greatest challenge when applying to business school was: Balancing my time between b-school application, GMAT, coursework and summer internship
About me: Born and raised in Shanghai, I moved to Guangzhou in 2016 for my undergraduate degree in English literature with an exchange at the University of Birmingham, UK. As an English major, I enjoyed reading and focused my thesis research on postcolonial literature. Joining the University Consulting Club, where I later took on the presidency, opened new doors to me. After more than 20 months of internships at Bain, Tencent, KPMG etc., I decided to pursue a rigorous master’s degree in business to bridge theory and practice, gain a holistic view of both and fuel my career aspiration in strategy consulting. LBS was the only school that I applied to, for its exceptional academics, unparalleled career support and uniquely diverse global community. Ready to embark on the next chapter of my life at LBS, I cannot put into words how excited I am to be studying with a cohort of inspiring classmates, who, together, will shape the future of business. Outside of school, my interests include travelling, cooking, musicals and photography.
Three topics I can be approached about: Transition from liberal arts to business; application process; life at LBS
