About me: Sasha came to London Business School from a career in political risk consulting at Eurasia Group in Washington D.C. and New York City. He initially focused on South Asia, analysing Indian, Sri Lankan, Pakistani and Bangladeshi politics for corporate and institutional investor clients. His work later expanded to comparative analyses of issues like water scarcity and data protection regimes globally. He is still proud of correctly calling the closely-contested 2015 Sri Lankan presidential election.
Sasha is pursuing his MBA in order to build skills and improve his understanding of broader business issues in the unmatched global context that LBS provides. Intent on joining strategy consulting, in autumn 2020 he is interning at Boston Consulting Group Dubai. At LBS, Sasha is a consulting peer leader with the Career Centre and is on the Executive Committee of the India Club, helping manage the annual India Trek for students and outreach for the club’s speaker series. He is also an active member of the Running Club, Middle East Club and Consulting Club. Sasha graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in political science, South Asia studies and history.
