Samuel holds a Bachelors in Business Administration with a major in Banking and Finance from the University of Applied Sciences in Zurich, and further holds the CFA, FRM and CAIA designations. While pursuing his part-time education at London Business School, he is a portfolio manager at LGT Capital Partners for liquid alternatives. In this capacity, he selects liquid alternatives strategies and decides on allocations in the context of multi-alternative portfolios.
Prior to his current role, he was a senior associate at StepStone Group, focusing on liquid alternatives and private debt. Samuel decided to pursue a Masters in Finance degree to progress his career and to deepen his knowledge in alternative asset classes, which have not yet been part of his professional focus.
He chose to join LBS to benefit from the flexible, electives-based structure of the programme, and to be part of a global diverse network which will support the development of his cross-cultural leadership skills. In addition to being a student ambassador, Samuel is a member of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Club, Investment Management Club, Infrastructure and Construction Club and Impact Consulting Club. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling around the world and practicing sport activities like football and martial arts.
