Sairam is originally from India and moved to the United States at age 11. He earned a BA with distinction in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College. After Amherst, Sairam worked as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York, helping raise capital for not-for-profit hospitals. Most recently, Sairam worked at Capital One in London as a strategy and analytics manager, where he managed the customer management strategy team. In this role, he worked with product managers and tech teams to create new lending products, launch new digital tools, and develop new initiatives to retain customers.
Sairam chose to attend LBS due to its emphasis on developing an international perspective and the diversity of the student body. At LBS, Sairam is a member of the Rugby Club and the Impact Consulting Club. His interests include hiking, tea, films, and global politics. After LBS, Sairam hopes to work in strategy consulting, combining his interests in professional services and problem solving.
