My greatest challenge when applying to business school was: Identifying my long-term goals

About me: I am Indian, but I lived in Prague, Czech Republic for five years, where I completed my undergraduate degree in economics and gained two years of work experience in the financial services sector. I spent one year at Moody's, where I was fast-track promoted from database administrator to database engineer, and then spent another year at Deutsche Boerse as a risk analyst. Through both experiences, I realised that I wanted to learn more about various dots that make up a business and a Masters in Management seemed like the obvious next step. Unlike most applicants, I put all my eggs in one basket - I only applied to LBS. Needless to say, I was thrilled to have been admitted and I received a full scholarship from LBS. Now at LBS, I serve on the Executive Committee of the Women in Business Club, one of the largest clubs on campus. I don’t know what the future holds but for now, I feel excited and thankful.

Three topics I can be approached about: Women in Business Club; application process; moving to London
