Education: Bachelors, Barnard College of Columbia University, USA; graduated in 2020
Topic(s) studied: Film and Economics
Interested in: Film industry, technology
My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Finding the time – balancing my internship with the application process (researching, attending information events, preparing for the GMAT)
About me: Originally from Paris, France, I have always been immersed in an international environment; from living in Seattle when I was a few months old to attending a bilingual school for most of my education.
Passionate about cinema from an early age, I knew I wanted to explore this interest during my undergraduate studies. I majored in Film and minored in Economics at Barnard College of Columbia University in New York. In parallel, I completed four internships in different domains of the film industry: development and acquisition, marketing, international programming and production, which confirmed my desire to pursue that career path.
I initially planned to stay in the United States post-graduation; however, with the pandemic I had to move back home and alter my plans. I decided to take a year to further my work experience. With the goal of launching a global career in the film industry and a desire to improve my level of Mandarin and immerse myself in Chinese culture, I applied to London Business School’s Global Masters in Management programme.
I am very interested in working for an international company in the entertainment industry that invests in and understands the importance of technology.
Three topics I can be approached about: Film industry; balancing social life, career opportunities and academic workload; moving to London
