My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Figuring out whether I wanted to do a Masters or start work

About me: Born and raised in Singapore, I moved to England to attend a boarding school for Sixth Form. After completing my International Baccalaureate, I moved back to Singapore to complete my National Service as an Air Warfare Officer specialising in ground-based air defence operations. I then moved back to England, where I completed my undergraduate studies in Public Health at King's College London. Apart from my time in the military, my professional experiences include internships in various areas such as investment banking, digital transformation and pharmaceutical market access strategy. Having suffered several major losses in my personal life over the past year, I wanted to enrol in a programme which would not only equip me with the skills needed to jumpstart my career but also provide me with an amazing and joyful experience. Given my love for London and the lovely interactions I had with LBS students, the LBS MiM seemed to be the perfect fit for me. The friends I’ve made and times I’ve had thus far have reinforced this, and I am very happy to share my application journey and/or application tips with anyone thinking of applying!
