Patrick is from Dublin, Ireland, and has spent the last ten years living between London, the US and the UAE. After studying French and Economics at University College Dublin and UC Berkeley, Patrick moved to London to qualify as a lawyer. He spent more than six years working on energy and infrastructure projects for Herbert Smith Freehills, one of the world’s largest law firms, and was a founding member of the firm’s Abu Dhabi office. Patrick volunteered on death row appeals in New Orleans, visiting clients regularly at the Louisiana State Penitentiary. He decided to come to London Business School to facilitate a move away from advisory work and into something closer to the action. He’s involved with the Energy Club and Net Impact Committees, and is jointly responsible for bringing 120 classmates on a cultural trek to Ireland.
