My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Securing a 700+ GMAT while working

About me: I studied Banking and Financial Management at the University of Piraeus in Greece, where I have lived most of my life. During the third year of my Bachelors studies, I had the chance to intern at Alantra, where I worked in NPL portfolio sales across Europe. As internship schemes are very hard to come by in Greece, I wanted to pass down the knowledge gained both while applying and eventually working at Alantra. Therefore, I co-founded my university's Finance Club, with a goal to provide a link between academia and the job market. Furthermore, I represented my university, and eventually Greece, at the CFA Global Research Challenge, reaching the EMEA finals. So combining my experiences at Alantra and the CFA competition, I decided to pursue investment banking after I graduate from London Business School. Finally, aside from my professional background, I play music in bands as lead vocalist and guitarist.

Three topics I can be approached about: Music Club and Basketball Club; investment banking applications; moving to London
