She has also worked as a sustainable projects assistant manager at SOWITEC, a German energy developer, modelling renewable energy projects and assisting in their commercialisation.

Montserrat decided to join the Masters in Finance programme at LBS for three main reasons: to learn in one of the most important financial hubs in the world, strengthening her financial knowledge through world-class faculty members and a rigorous curriculum; to build a strong diverse network; and to leverage the school’s strong reputation and resources to successfully switch countries within the finance industry upon graduation. In addition to being a student ambassador, Montse is VP of Competitions in the Swimming Club and is an active member of the Woman's Touch Rugby Club, the Social Impact Club, the Private Equity and Venture Capital Club, the Investment Club and the Tech and Media Club. In her spare time, Montse enjoys outdoor activities, travelling and exercising in general. She has competed in four Junior National Olympics in handball and triathlon, and one Soccer National Championship.
