Prior to joining London Business School, Miles worked in New Zealand as a senior advisor to the department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. In this role, he was a founding member of the National Risk Unit, collaborating across government to develop and implement a system for greater proactive management of critical national risks. Miles began his career at the United Nations in New York, representing New Zealand as it began its first term on the Security Council in 20 years.
Miles came to London Business School in order to develop skills, knowledge and connections that will enable him to work with impact in the private sector. He is a recipient of the Australia and New Zealand Scholarship. Miles holds a BA in Political Science and Masters in International Studies (with Distinction) from the University of Otago. His passions include rock-climbing, diving and reading. He is an active member of the Men’s Rugby Club and is on the Executive Committee of the Art and Business Club.
