Mihir received his Bachelors in Business Administration from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University, with concentrations in finance and economics and a minor in web programming and applications. He currently works in consulting, advising wealth and asset managers in Europe on ways to improve their businesses, become more operationally efficient, meet regulatory expectations and identify opportunities for better profitability. Before moving to London, Mihir worked on building a cryptocurrency exchange in Mumbai, which furthered his interests in the fintech space. Prior to working in Mumbai, he also had the opportunity to work as a consultant in New York, advising global banks and quantitative hedge funds on large transformation programmes.
Mihir decided to join the part-time Masters in Finance programme to increase his knowledge on finance-related topics and broaden his familiarity with the financial services industry. More importantly, Mihir chose to take on this challenge to continuously get better at what he does, and expand his network amongst other financial services professionals. He believes he’s been extremely fortunate to be part of a fantastic cohort of very competent and intelligent peers, to whom he gives a lot of credit whilst reflecting on his overall experience at LBS.
Outside of work, Mihir loves reading, watching Bollywood movies and playing and watching sports including football, cricket, tennis, squash, badminton, swimming, scuba diving, F1 - you name it! He’s always up for a good laugh and more than happy to help others around him. Please feel free to reach out to Mihir if you would like to know more about the part-time Masters in Finance programme at LBS.
