Matheus Chodin

  • Degree Programme: Masters in Management
  • Global Nationality: Brazilian

Education: LLB, University of São Paulo, Brazil; graduated in 2018

Topic(s) studied: Law

Interested in: Investment banking

My greatest challenge when applying to business school was: Time management between internships, exam preparation and applications

About me: Born and raised in Brazil, I studied law as a bachelor’s degree at the University of São Paulo, where I was highly involved in politics and where I did two internships in corporate law. After having the opportunity to study economics and finance in Paris at Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and completing three internships in major banks, I realised I very much enjoyed not only the dynamism of investment banking, but also the excitement that living abroad and being surrounded by people from all over the world brings. Learning languages is probably my favorite hobby, as I see it as an opportunity to limitlessly immerse myself into new cultures. This also easily explains my choice to join LBS, a place where the multitude of stories and backgrounds makes you learn and grow daily. If you have doubts on applications, want to learn more about different career paths or just feel like chatting about the whole LBS experience, please feel free to reach out to me!

Three topics I can be approached about: Funding; application tips; career advice
