Education: BSc, University of Mannheim, Germany; graduated in 2019
Topic(s) studied: Business Administration
Interested in: Private equity, consulting
My greatest challenge when applying to business school was: Balancing applications deadlines and GMAT with my work
About me: I was born and raised in Eastern Germany. After graduating from high school, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of Mannheim and spent a semester abroad in Hong Kong. Even though I had already undertaken several internships during my bachelor studies (in financial services, investment management and consulting), I decided to do a gap year to gain significant experience in my two major target industries: consulting and private equity. Furthermore, my gap year allowed me to finally meet up with some friends, meeting people all across Europe and South East Asia. What really distinguishes LBS from other business schools is the amazing school community, consisting of students, professors, alumni, the admissions office and many more stakeholders. LBS is a truly diverse business school with exceptional, incredibly motivated people. Therefore, it is the perfect opportunity to meet people from all different kinds of professional/academic backgrounds and nationalities, giving you the opportunity to build a global, long-lasting network of friends. I am a member of the consulting, private equity and venture capital, badminton, DACH, and foodie clubs. Do not hesitate to reach out to me; I look forward to sharing my experience with you!
Three topics I can be approached about: Careers in private equity and consulting; tips for the application and the interview; restaurants in London
