My greatest challenge when applying to business school was: Choosing the right school for me

About me: I am originally from Germany, and I did my undergraduate studies in Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. During this time, I did two exchanges in Singapore and Hong Kong, where I developed a passion for Asian cultures. After this, I moved to Los Angeles for a three-month internship at an electric-vehicle startup called Canoo, and after my return to Germany I did two internships in consulting. I joined LBS to explore different industries and I am currently still deciding whether I want to do a graduate programme or go into consulting after the GMiM. The industries that I am most passionate about include sports, technology and social impact. In my free time I especially enjoy doing sports; I play football as a goalkeeper and I enjoy staying active by doing bodyweight training and going running. The great variety of extracurricular activities offered at LBS will also allow me to explore new sports that I have not tried before. Moreover, I am a very social and open person and I like to spend a lot of time with friends in my free time. Here, LBS truly differentiates itself through its strong sense of community and endless opportunities to meet people.

Three topics I can be approached about: Impact Consulting Club; funding; how to decide whether LBS is right for you
