Lorenzo holds a bachelor’s degree and a double-year Masters in Management from the University of Florence, Italy. During his senior year, he was selected as a top-three candidate in a competition for innovative start-ups. Leveraging that success, he started his career in London working for an asset management company, advising and co-investing with primary private equity real estate funds. Following this, he worked for three years in an independent investment banking boutique in Italy, focused on M&A, debt/equity raising, and advisory for private equity funds for capital raising and deployment. He was involved in the full transaction cycle, liaising with CEOs, CFOs, and all involved stakeholders. In 2018, he was promoted to lead analyst in the Milan office as a key client contact, and experienced relevant international exposure. Lorenzo decided to join the Masters in Finance programme at LBS to consolidate and expand his international network while gaining guidance from leading professionals. He is a recipient of the Merit Scholarship (top 5%) and also holds CFA Level 1. Lorenzo is a student ambassador, a leader of the Private Equity Trek in Italy, a Private Equity and Venture Capital ambassador and an active member of the Finance Club and Wine and Spirits Club. In addition to producing wine, he enjoys playing football, extreme sports and travelling.
