Lindsey Zastawny

Education: Bachelors, University of Georgia, USA; graduated in 2021

Topic(s) studied: Finance

Interested in: Research and asset management

My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Balancing applications with school and recruitment season. I definitely had to plan ahead and stay on top of all my activities, but it was so worth it in the end!

About me: Originally from Chicago, Illinois, I completed my undergraduate degree in finance at the University of Georgia. Throughout high school and university, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in exchanges to France and the University of Oxford. These experiences helped to expand my global perspective and made me realise I thrive in an international environment. While at UGA, I randomly decided to join the sailing club, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made and really forced me out of my comfort zone. I'm now on the Executive Committee for the Sailing Club at LBS, and I am excited to continue my passion for the sport while in business school. This past summer I interned in asset management, and I quickly realised that investment research was exactly how I wanted to start my career. The MFA has provided me with the resources and foundation to excel in such an area, while my peers provide the support to get through long nights of studying (and then going out to celebrate the end of an exam after). Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about life at LBS or the application process!
