Education: Bachelor, University of St. Gallen HSG (Switzerland); graduated in 2019
Topic(s) studied: Business Administration
Interested in: Consulting, entrepreneurship, technology
My greatest challenge when applying to business school was: The uncertainty around COVID-19 in addition to enduring post-work GMAT study sessions
About me: I was fortunate enough to be raised in Germany, Mexico and South Africa, allowing me to learn and flourish from the cultural interactions of all three continents. These interactions have not only refined my open-mindedness but also drove me to understand the value of exchanging thoughts with international communities, which was the underlying drive for me to complete my secondary education at an International School in Munich. After graduating, I not only worked as a performing magician for a year, but was also fortunate enough to be able to give back by socially engaging in the project “Abuelitos de la Calle”, involving work at a homeless shelter in Ecuador for at-risk elderly. Later, I decided to pursue a bachelor’s at HSG, a rewarding academic journey that was complemented by an exchange semester at Columbia University in New York. Along my academic path, I continuously undertook internships in various industries, such as the information technology, automotive and strategy consulting sectors. I chose LBS because of its foundation of intellect and rigorous academia that is sparked through the paradox between the vivid sounds of the city and the unbroken silence of the SOC library, continuously stimulating the production of new knowledge.
Three topics I can be approached about: Life in London; interview prep; application strategy
