Kuda was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe. He pursued his undergraduate studies in South Africa at the University of Cape Town, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance and Accounting. He has been a CFA Charterholder and Chartered Accountant since 2019.
He began his career as an auditor in South Africa, where he spent three years covering the mining and consumer goods sector. He gained extensive experience in working with founder-led businesses and managing client relationships. Before joining London Business School, he worked as a supervisor at a London-based accounting and business advisory firm. In his role, he gained experience in performing business, financial reporting, portfolio and tax valuations across Europe.
Kuda decided to join the Masters in Finance programme at LBS to build a diverse network of exceptional individuals from across the world; to gain leadership skills by leveraging LBS’s exceptionally talented faculty, student body and strong alumni network; and to leverage the school’s strong reputation and resources to successfully switch sectors within finance upon graduation. In addition to being a student ambassador, Kuda is an Executive Committee member of the LBS Africa Club. He is an active member of the Finance Club, Social Impact Club, Rugby Club and the Black in Business Club. In his spare time, Kuda enjoys running, hiking and on many occasions, he finds himself lost in a good autobiography. He has run the Berlin Half Marathon and Two Oceans Half Marathon.
