Kelly Xu has a Master in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore, which she attended as a Lee Kuan Yew School graduate scholar. After working with J.P. Morgan in Singapore and Hong Kong, Kelly joined the United Nations International Trade Centre for the impact investment programs in Africa. She advised investors from Asia on their Africa business expansion and localisation strategies. During her time at ITC, she facilitated over US$2bn investment from Asia to Africa, creating over 10,000 jobs in the region. She has been awarded the Chevening Award by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the UK government for her professional achievements.
Kelly came to LBS to expand her connections in finance and to gain a more global perspective. She is an active member of the Finance Club, Investment Management Club and Private Equity and Venture Capital Club. In her spare time, she loves outdoor sports and volunteer mentoring. She is a marathon runner and an avid traveller.
