Before joining LBS, Kathy worked for Bits x Bites, China’s pioneer food and agritech venture capital fund, working extensively on global deal sourcing, due diligence, investor relations and industry research, covering technology aspects related to the sustainable agri-food ecosystem: bioscience, the internet of things, data science, patented food processing and consumer packaged goods. Prior to Bits x Bites, she worked as a management consultant at PwC to lead several financial risk consulting projects for listed commercial bank clients in China. Kathy graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
Kathy is the recipient of the LBS China Scholarship. She chose the LBS MiF programme because she believes its unrivalled academic resources, extended financial industry network and exposure to diverse perspectives from the inclusive student body will provide her with a stronger foundation to expedite her career in equity investment. She is a member of the LBS Private Equity and Venture Capital Club, Investment Management Club and Tennis Club.
