My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Choosing between a Masters, a corporate job and the family business as the most suitable route to my long-term ambition

About me: Born and raised in India, I completed my undergraduate degree from St. Xavier’s College Mumbai with a major in Economics and Statistics. During my studies, I undertook a corporate internship, held two leadership positions in college that helped me discover my true interests, and I decided to contribute, learn and build my career in the startup space. Like many others, graduating amidst a pandemic drastically altered my career plans, and left me with rescinded job offers and the urge to up-skill myself for the world out there. Post my Bachelors degree, I helped grow my family business and worked with two technology startups. Sincere, quick-to-learn and passionate about developing new and innovative products, I was keen on pursuing a course that laid at the intersection of statistics, business and technology. The MAM programme at LBS proved to be a good fit in my career roadmap and helped align my academic, personal and professional aspirations. In addition to being a student ambassador, I am delighted to contribute to the Entrepreneurship Club as a member of the Launchpad Operations and Marketing Executive Committee. Apart from this, one would often find me watching a Formula One race, playing the ukulele or at a table-tennis play-off.

Three topics I can be approached about: The application process; moving to London; Entrepreneurship Club – Launchpad
