Jurin holds a degree in Economics from the University of Tokyo in Japan. Before joining London Business School, she worked in the Ministry of Finance of Japan for five years. She enjoyed being involved with recruiting new graduates, where she mentored students in person, building a long-term friendship with many of them. She also took part in the issuance of Japanese Government Bonds and public investment and loan projects. She ranked number one in the national examination in economics for the civil service fast stream in Japan. Jurin decided to pursue a Masters in Finance to expand and strengthen her financial knowledge and technical skills. She chose to join LBS to build a diverse global network, having the opportunity to work with people of different geographical and professional backgrounds. In her spare time, she enjoys running and yoga. She likes a wide range of music from classical and chanson to progressive rock. She also relishes exploring unconventional movies.
