My greatest challenge when applying to business school was: Combining the work with my academics and extracurriculars
About me: After completing my bachelor’s in economics at the University of Warwick, I decided that I wanted to expand my knowledge of finance and the financial services industry by pursuing a master's degree at one of Europe's top business schools. The MFA at London Business School is the ideal platform for me to learn about the application of theoretical concepts in finance as well as develop the hard and soft skills that are required to be successful. Furthermore, the programme allows me to expand my practical skillset that I developed during prior internships in investment banking and private equity. Upon completion of the MFA, I aim to start in investment banking and so far, the LBS Career Centre has been extremely helpful and supportive with regards to application strategies and interview preparation. Although the global pandemic has undoubtedly presented new unanticipated challenges, my first couple of months at LBS have been incredible so far. The curriculum is intense and challenging, but at the same time very rewarding and relevant. The whole LBS community is as vibrant as ever and I have met some truly amazing people from all over the world. Understanding the difficult decision-making process you are going through when applying to business school, I look forward to sharing my journey with you.
Three topics I can be approached about: Moving to London; GMAT and interview prep; funding
