Education: BSc, Maastricht University, the Netherlands; graduated in 2019
Topic(s) studied: Economics and Business Economics
Interested in: Investment banking, private equity
My greatest challenge when applying to business school was: Self-belief and writing my application essays
About me: I was born and raised in Liege in Belgium. In 2016, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in economics and business economics at Maastricht University. During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to go on exchange for six months at the University of New South Wales in Australia. There, I spent most of my time travelling along the entire Australian east coast. Besides my studies, I was chief in the Scouts in Belgium, a movement I’ve been part of for 15 years, and also tried a few sports like rowing, fencing and basketball. The year following my undergraduate degree, I did an internship at Nike in the finance and strategy department, and this summer, I interned at a candidate startup in the LBS Incubator. Since the start of the programme at LBS, I could not be happier with my decision to come to London to study, and have joined the Finance, Sailing, and Rugby Clubs! The clubs at LBS offer great opportunities to broaden one’s interests and connect with students from all the other programmes. Although the COVID-19 crisis has limited our interactions on campus, the exceptional community at LBS remains its most valuable asset! Do not hesitate to reach out to me!
Three topics I can be approached about: The admission process; Rugby Club; life in London!
