My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Writing the GMAT while studying full-time and working part-time

About me: After completing a general management degree at Ivey, which included an exchange at Bocconi University in Italy, I decided that I could improve my potential impact in the finance industry by completing a rigorous quantitative master’s degree. Having previously worked in various finance and advisory roles across four countries, I knew that I would enjoy learning in an international environment that emphasised practical skills that I could take back to the workplace. My most recent work experience was supporting the financing of sustainable development projects administered by the United Nations. It's fascinating to see how development financing, and public financing more broadly, is changing and how the leaders of tomorrow will react to the emerging challenges and opportunities. The entrepreneurial spirit of my peers and professors at LBS reaffirms my desire to pursue a career in this space where we can work towards a more sustainable future. Outside of my work, I am interested in political activism, cooking, and skiing. Having been in your shoes before, I look forward to sharing my LBS experience with you!
