Joe holds a bachelor's degree in commerce with a major in accountancy from John Molson School of Business in Montreal. Joe received his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) license in February 2020 and also passed the CFA Level 1 exam in June 2019. Before joining London Business School, he spent close to three years working as an assurance professional at Richter LLP in Montreal. In his past role, Joe led a number of Richter teams for various mandates with revenues grossing over C$1bn across multiple industries (manufacturing and global logistics, construction, printing packaging and real estate). Before Richter, Joe was a financial and costing analyst at the leading food manufacturer in Canada, Sofina Foods.
Joe decided to join the Masters in Finance programme at LBS for three main reasons: the innumerable club and event offerings at LBS make the school uniquely positioned to provide the learning and networking opportunities that he is seeking; to bridge the gaps in his skillset necessary for a career switch, through LBS's outstanding courses and world-renowned professors; and to leverage LBS's global reach, unparalleled diversity and renowned reputation to transition into the world of finance successfully. In addition to his role as a student ambassador, Joe is an active member of the Real Estate Club, the Finance Club, the Private Equity and Venture Capital Club and the North America Club. In his spare time, Joe is a keen member of the local gym and a passionate ice hockey player.
