About me: Hugo grew up in Hong Kong and received his BA (Hons) in English Literature and Economics with first class honours from the University of Hong Kong. He then received an MSc in Economics with distinction from the University of Warwick in the UK.

After graduation, Hugo worked for Deloitte’s UK advisory arm to advise international financial institutions on quantitative credit risk management, covering mainly the UK and Ireland, continental Europe, the Nordics and the USA. Hugo was also a credit risk audit manager at Morgan Stanley, where he worked closely with senior management to safeguard the bank’s credit risk management processes. His work has helped improve international banks’ capital position and risk management, which ultimately contributed to the financial stability of the wider economy.

During his free time, Hugo has been involved in volunteering to mentor community youth, focusing on those who were the first in the family to attend higher education. At LBS, Hugo is also an active member of the Men's Rugby Club, where he has made great friends and established a deep sense of belonging to the school.

Hugo chose to pursue his MBA at LBS in order to build up a solid set of hard skills and a global network, to enable him to become an impactful business leader in the future and contribute to the general welfare of society.
