Habone has experience working in inter-governmental organisations on topics related to renewable energy finance and trade policy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Université de Montpellier, and a master’s degree in international economics from the Université Grenoble Alpe. Before joining London Business School, she worked in the renewable energy finance unit at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the only international organisation dedicated solely to renewable energy, where she screened renewable energy investment opportunities in developing countries and advised on project development and accessing finance. Previously, she worked at the World Trade Organisation and the International Trade Centre in Geneva.
Habone decided to join the Masters in Finance programme at LBS to strengthen her financial knowledge and be taught directly by renowned finance faculty, as well as top finance professionals. She is also looking to leverage on the School’s extensive network to transition to a role in sustainable infrastructure finance.
In addition to being a student ambassador, Habone is the fundraising lead for the Women in Business Club, the biggest professional club at LBS which celebrates and advances women's leadership, and is also the vice president of marketing and fundraising for the Wind and Wave Club. She is also a member of the Energy and Environment Club, the Infrastructure and Construction Club and the Impact Investment Club. In her spare time, Habone enjoys Muay Thai, boxing and travelling, and aims to travel to every country in the world once in her life.
