My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Choosing the Masters which best fitted my career ambition

About me: Having been raised in Morocco and completing my education at a French high school, I opted for a higher education with a strong international exposure. I therefore joined the ESSEC campus in Singapore for my first two years of my Bachelors, where I was immersed in an enriching cultural and academic environment in a City-State that serves as a bridge between the Asian and Anglo-Saxon worlds. Subsequently, I completed my last two undergraduate years at the ESSEC campus of Paris before joining the Masters in Financial Analysis at LBS.

My passion for finance has emerged since my internship in a French fintech where I was involved in a €3.8 million financing. I additionally completed two internships in M&A boutiques which enabled me to deepen my financial and technical knowledge as well as analyse several industries all over the European and African markets.

In sum, as a proud African born and raised, I am today very interested by private equity investments in the continent. It is in this context that I have joined the Africa Club as a Vice President Think Tank Infrastructure and Finance at LBS and I intend to pursue a career in a leading private equity firm with an Africa-focused investment strategy. Aside from this, I am a professional climber and passionate about cooking. I am excited to share my experience thus far; please do not hesitate to reach out and contact me.

Three topics I can be approached about: The application process; careers in investment banking; Africa Club.
