Francesco Sanna

  • Degree Programme: Masters in Finance part time
  • Global Nationality: Italian

Francesco holds a Bachelor and a Master in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Pisa (Italy) and a PhD in Applied Physics from the Université du Maine with a Marie Curie Scholarship of the European Commission. Whilst studying London Business School (LBS), Francesco also works as a financial stability expert at the European Central Bank.

Francesco decided to join LBS to broaden his knowledge in finance, which is very much complementary to his quantitative skill and useful for a more comprehensive and structured approach. He also wanted to experience the commuter life in London, to be part of a global network and to gain exposure to several nationalities and cultures. Francesco was for a long time a board member and manager of the Events and Network Working Group of the Marie Curie Alumni Association. He is a recipient of the Masters in Finance Merit Scholarship.

In addition to being a Student Ambassador, Francesco works daily to promote research, mostly in Europe. He loves singing and travelling, as well as organising international events.
