My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Reflecting on myself and how business school would help me achieve my career goals
About me: Born and raised in Paris, I had always wanted to study abroad in an international environment. In 2015, I moved to London and started my studies of Electrical and Electrical Engineering at Imperial College London. What I loved there was the diversity of the people and the opportunity to combine my studies and extracurricular activities; I was running the Lebanese Society, and also played and competed in handball. During my studies, I have also been passionate about energy, and have undertaken several internships in this sector. However, I quickly realised I enjoyed the business side of it, rather than the engineering one. That’s why I joined the MiM at LBS; I wanted not only to diversify my profile, but also gain deeper understanding on how businesses are run. As I look toward a career in strategy consulting in the energy sector, I decided that LBS was the best step forward to pursue my career goals. My experience so far at LBS also goes beyond the classroom; I have loved interacting with even more diverse people at different levels, whether it is playing with the Women’s Touch Rugby team or working on the organisation of the Middle East Conference!
