My greatest challenge when applying to business school was: Preparing for GMAT and writing my application while working full-time
About me: I was born and raised in India - a diverse, vibrant and lively nation, which laid a strong foundation for my international mindset. I did my undergraduate in computer science at Birla Institute of Technology and Science - Pilani, where I also got an opportunity to explore the field of finance. Getting immensely interested in this field, I opted for a minor degree in finance, wherein I did a variety of courses, ranging from accounting to algorithmic trading. Furthermore, I did internships with D. E. Shaw, a hedge fund, and Morgan Stanley, to gain hands-on experience. After graduation, I worked in asset-backed Securities in D. E. Shaw for a year, wherein I developed financial models and analytics tools. Having developed an intense passion for finance in the last few years, and being driven by the relentless pursuit of understanding markets and business profoundly, I decided to pursue the MFA at LBS. The adrenaline rush which one gets every day because of the fast-paced and dynamic environment at LBS is beyond words. LBS has provided me with an opportunity to learn from the best minds around the world and build everlasting relationships with such amazing people.
Three topics I can be approached about: Managing job applications with academics; Debate and Public Speaking Club; moving to London
