Daniel grew up in Lima, Peru, and studied system engineering at Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería. He began his career as a channel strategy analyst at Interbank, where he executed diverse tasks that ranged from automatising staffing in stores to improving the productivity of cashiers nationwide. He then became the CEO of Crea+, an NGO that promotes better education in Peru, where he led a team of more than 2,000 people from different backgrounds who became teachers for public schools on weekends. Before joining London Business School, he was project lead at Labentana, Interbank’s innovation lab.
Daniel decided to pursue an MBA to start a career in strategy consulting and chose LBS because of its academic rigour, career services, incredible diversity and global reputation. At LBS, he is on the Executive Committee of the Consulting Club while taking part in the events and projects offered by the Design and Innovation Club and Tech and Media Club. He is enjoying the opportunity to experience big city life, exploring London and taking advantage of the easy access to the surrounding countryside and the rest of Europe. Daniel’s hobbies include running triathlons, dancing salsa in the Salsa Club at LBS and reading non-fiction books.
