About me: Dami graduated with a law degree from Durham University. She thereafter trained and qualified as a solicitor with Herbert Smith Freehills. She spent 18 months working in London and another two years in Paris. She specialised as a banking and finance lawyer and has advised the largest French banks on international financing transactions, often with African borrowers. Prior to returning to London for the MBA, she completed pre-MBA internships at PwC Nigeria and Vesta Healthcare Partners.
Dami decided to pursue an MBA to expand her core skillset beyond law, broaden her understanding and exposure to wider business concepts and explore other career opportunities. She chose LBS in particular because of its extremely diverse and international student body, its strategic location and the flexible nature of the programme, allowing her to potentially complete several internships during her time at LBS.
Dami is on the Executive Committee of the LBS Africa Club and is a member of the Consulting Club and Social Impact Club. She is also a BCG Women’s MBA Fellow and a recipient of the BCG Women’s Scholarship. Outside of class, she enjoys travel and outdoor activities, in particular hiking and tennis, as well as meeting people from different cultural backgrounds.
Three topics I can be approached about: Studying the MBA from a non-traditional background; exploring consulting; Africa
