My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: To balance my studies, internship and masters application.

About me: Born and raised in China, I decided to live abroad after high school and have so far studied and lived in five different countries. I pursued a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at ESSEC Business School, spending almost half of my time in France and the other half in Singapore, where I completed an exchange at National University of Singapore (NUS). The multidisciplinary nature of the degree provided me with a basic understanding of today’s business world and enabled me to explore different career opportunities.

During the past few years, I have completed internships across sectors and finally found a strong passion in consulting because of the intellectual stimulation and steep learning curve it offers. When I applied for a masters degree, the Masters in Management programme at LBS attracted me the most for its supportive career services, worldwide alumni network and diverse and inclusive culture, which I believe will facilitate my job hunting process for consulting.

Apart from professional interests, I love travelling and hope to explore more interesting places in London. Through four years of study in multicultural environments, I am accustomed to and enjoy interacting with people from culturally diverse backgrounds. As the student community at LBS is very much international, I am looking forward to connecting with individuals from around the globe.
