About me: Chris is a litigation attorney, having completed his Bachelor of Civil Law at University College Dublin and his Master of Laws at New York University School of Law. He has more than eight years’ experience in law, practicing in leading corporate law firms in Ireland, such as A&L Goodbody, and the United States, such as Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and Milbank LLP.
In addition to his corporate work, Chris has exhibited a strong passion for pro bono and social impact work. He has worked with some of the leading public interest organisations in the US and New York, defending indigent individuals in criminal appeals, protecting organisation’s rights to free speech and canvass in local communities, and protecting the rights of immigrant women who have been abused by their spouses.
Chris is interested in exploring entrepreneurial opportunities related to public interest work and hopes to leverage his experience in law to make a tangible difference. At LBS, Chris is a student ambassador, a member of the Student Association Committee and a member of the Social Impact and Entrepreneurship clubs. He is also a big fan of rugby, cricket and football.
Three topics I can be approached about: Coming from an industry that is not very well represented (law); coming from a country that is not very well represented (only Irish person in the class, I believe); strong verbal and written ability and experience
