My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Time management and self-belief. Striking a balance between working full-time and preparing for the business school applications can be stressful but it is essential to hold on to initial motivations and believe in oneself.
About me: Growing up in Taipei and living briefly in the United States, I have always been fond of international opportunities and making deep connections with people from all over the world. I did a BBA in Finance at National Taiwan University and an exchange semester at the University of Leeds in the UK. After completing my undergraduate education, I worked as an analyst in corporate banking. I was fortunate to gain exposure to jumbo clients from various sectors while developing solid financial analysis and industry research skills. With my previous internship experiences in investment management, strategic planning, and consumer banking, I find the changeable and diversified aspect of the financial industry particularly exhilarating. Enthusiastic about launching my career in investment banking, I am determined to embrace the transformative experience of the MFA. On a personal note, I enjoy movies, dancing, and socialising in the vibrant City of London. I love the inclusive community LBS offers. The student body is truly international and diverse, with peers from different countries and backgrounds, which helps shape a broad and well-rounded perspective. I believe my year at LBS will be fruitful and the encounters during my time here will entail long-lasting memories.
