My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Identifying postgraduate career interests

About me: I have been privileged enough to grow up between the United States and Mexico. Though at times my upbringing left me in limbo, where I didn’t belong to one country or the other, it allowed me to truly appreciate the differences in cultures and further connect with people of other countries beyond my own. This love for meeting and bringing people of diverse backgrounds together eventually led me to pursue a Bachelors at the George Washington University in International Affairs, during which I also did an exchange at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Like many others, the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic halted my career plans, but I was able to help my family business adapt and resolve new issues that arose from unprecedented global changes. Knowing that I wanted to return to London, and having acquired this unique business perspective, I applied to London Business School ready to further my business understanding and learn from my peers. We are now applying and exchanging what we have learned from prior experiences, class work and Executive Committee roles. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for us!

Three topics I can be approached about: Pursuing LBS from a non-business background; Social Impact Consulting project; restaurants in London
