Brendon Chakara

  • Degree Programme: Masters in Finance full time
  • Global Nationality: Zimbabwean

Prior to joining London Business School, Brendon worked as an investments analyst/junior portfolio manager for Imara Asset Management, a firm that majors in equities and holds a 30% market share of Zimbabwe's pension funds. In 2019, he was awarded the CFA charter, making him the youngest CFA Charterholder in Zimbabwe.

Brendon decided to pursue the Masters in Finance at LBS because he wanted a programme that would not only allow him to explore his intellectual curiosity, but also offered a plethora of options for experiential learning and cultural immersion. He is a recipient of the Merit Scholarship and the Vladimir Vendin Scholarship. In addition to being a student ambassador, Brendon is part of the founding Executive Committee for the Black in Business Club and is an active member of the Africa Club. He also serves as a career representative for his cohort. In his spare time Brendon enjoys a good hike in the countryside, playing rugby and boxing.
