Bernardita holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a Masters in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Before joining London Business School, she worked at LarrainVial, a Chilean asset management company with presence in the Andean region of South America. She was part of the strategy team for wealth management, where she collaborated in the creation of the investment committees and led economic and strategy view presentations for clients.
Bernardita decided to join the Masters in Finance programme for two key reasons. The first was its international environment; she was looking for a university that offered a truly global experience, where she could learn from her peers and engage in conversations about how to navigate the transformations we are experiencing in financial markets. Secondly, because she was looking to advance her career in asset management, and wanted a programme that had a rigorous curriculum, but that at the same time allowed her to develop the soft skills needed for her career progression.
In addition to being a student ambassador, Bernardita is an academic representative for her stream and is part of the Women in Business Club, LatAm Club and Investment Management Club. In her spare time, Bernardita enjoys baking, hiking, and skiing. She has skied in Chile, Switzerland, the United States and Japan.
