My greatest challenge when applying to business school was: Finding the right programme and the right school

About me: I was born and raised in Austria, and I completed my bachelor’s degree in business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) and SMU in Singapore, specialising in finance and international business. After my undergraduate studies, I completed various internships within management consulting and both the M&A and ECM side of investment banking. These internships provided me with valuable insights into various industries ranging from automotive and e-commerce to real estate and aerospace. I appreciated that the MiM would further develop my broad theoretical foundation while also offering a portfolio of electives that would allow me to further specialise in my fields of interest. However, what I’ve certainly enjoy most from my experience so far is the School’s vibrant community of motivated students, as well as the extensive range of extracurricular activities that prove to be the perfect complement to the academic curriculum. For me LBS’ student clubs are the ideal place to expand networks, win friends and follow on with a range of private interests, be it travelling, food, sports or business.

Three topics I can be approached about: Application; student clubs; career offering
