My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Researching, networking and obtaining the necessary information to decide between the Masters programmes LBS offers
About me: I was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, where I completed my BSc in Management at Católica Lisbon School. I had the opportunity to do an exchange semester for five months in Seoul, South Korea, which was a transforming experience. After graduating, I worked at KPMG in the department of audit of financial services for two years before joining the MFA at London Business School. I had the chance to work in teams alongside very experienced professionals which has allowed me to develop all my soft and analytical skills. Also, I worked closely and directly with clients, which was a true challenge but has also shown me that I truly want to work in a sector where I’ll be able to create an impact in companies, helping them to grow their businesses. My constant need for new challenges, combined with my willingness to pursue more specialised studies in finance, has led me to London Business School. It was not only academic excellence but also the culturally diversified cohort and sense of community that has made me choose the Masters in Financial Analysis. Apart from my academic/professional experiences, I love to travel, have a hate-love relationship with jogging and I'm a complete foodie.
Three topics I can be approached about: Deciding which Early Careers Masters one should choose; funding and moving to London; extracurricular activities at LBS
