Ana Paula Pedroni

Ana Paula holds a BA in Economics and a Diploma in Risk Management from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City. Before joining London Business School, she worked at CitiBanamex, the second largest pension fund in Mexico (US$32bn AUM) as a senior multi-sector equity portfolio manager, in charge of developing investment strategies with a bottom-up approach, regarding local equities and REITs and managing pension funds worth US$5bn. Prior to this, Ana Paula worked at Santander Asset Management as a junior portfolio manager and at Ixe Financial Group as an equity research analyst. During her time at CitiBanamex, Ana Paula placed a robust emphasis on building, developing and maintaining solid relationships with top management from companies across the Mexican financial market. She also had the opportunity to manage a team of three, emphasising the importance of collaboration, proactiveness and a teamwork-oriented attitude. With ten years of asset management experience, she decided to pursue a Masters in Finance to broaden her financial knowledge and gain different skills to expand her hands-on experience in the asset management industry and further develop her professional career. She chose to join LBS to have a truly international experience, gain knowledge from best-in-class faculty and expand her network worldwide, having the opportunity to work with young professionals from different academic and professional backgrounds and also from diverse cultures. In addition to being a student ambassador, Ana Paula is a member of the Investment Management, Real Estate and Women in Business Clubs. In her spare time, she enjoys various outdoor activities; she is a horse-riding competitor, a skating instructor and a yoga practitioner.
