Education: Bachelors, King's College London, UK; graduated in 2021
Topic(s) studied: Philosophy, Politics and Economics
Interested in: Asset management, equity research, venture capital
My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Evaluating the trade-offs between working and doing an MiM immediately after my undergraduate degree
About me: I was born and raised in Singapore but spent my high school years in rural Japan, eventually moving to London for my Bachelors degree in PPE at King’s College London. My degree provided me with a robust toolkit for analysing puzzles from multiple angles and finding creative solutions for them, which eventually drew me to research-centred roles. During my studies, I explored internships in the realms of climate-driven venture capital and public equities and will be continuing my journey as an equity research associate at Fidelity International in 2022. Coming from a humanities background, LBS seemed like the perfect place to strengthen my business acumen while tapping into a global network of people and ideas. LBS offers a never-ending stream of social, academic and professional engagements, supporting you on your chosen career path while allowing you to truly immerse yourself in all areas of the business world. When I’m not engaging with the variety of opportunities that LBS has to offer, I can be found exploring London’s diverse (and delicious) food offerings or dog-walking in a park! If you would like to chat about LBS, London, careers or anything else in between, please do not hesitate to reach out!
Three topics I can be approached about: Applying from a humanities/non-business background; mastering the LBS application (including GMAT); life in London
