About me: Before starting the MBA programme at London Business School, Alex worked as a naval architect for nine years. A graduate of the University of Southampton, Alex spent the first three years of his career working in Perth, Australia, before returning to the UK to work for an energy consultancy in Winchester. Passionate about energy, Alex hopes to transition into strategy consulting post-MBA, ideally with a focus on the energy transition and the future of renewables.
Alex chose LBS for its reputation of academic excellence, as well as the strength of the School’s cohort and the range of opportunities available to students in and out of the classroom. He hopes to transform his way of thinking by gaining new perspectives and insights from the School’s faculty and the diverse MBA2022 cohort.
Alex enjoys running, cooking, wine and sailing. At LBS, he is a social representative for Stream C, relationships lead for the Consulting Club, and events representative for the Running Club. Alex is looking forward to sharing his experiences with future potential applicants before they embark on their own MBA journey.
Three topics I can be approached about: Transitioning from engineering to consulting; studying with a partner; moving to London
