Before graduating from Koc, Alara had completed internships at J.P. Morgan (Treasury Desk), IS Investments (Eurobonds Desk), and in her penultimate year summer, at Bain & Company, where she started working full time upon graduation.

During her time at Bain, Alara worked on projects in Turkey, the Middle East and the US. She mainly focused on financial work streams with sector experience in energy, industrial goods and services, and banking. After Bain, Alara also worked with the UN – World Food Programme’s Business Innovation & Change unit as a consultant.

During her MBA, Alara aims to leverage her consulting skill set and business acumen to transition into the banking/investing space. She is an Executive Committee member of Finance Club and a member of Private Equity & Venture Capital Club.

In her free time, Alara enjoys watching movies, doing yoga and playing with her pets.

Three topics I can be approached about: Pivoting to banking/investing post-MBA; consulting; moving to London/studying with pets
