We help managers and leaders develop the knowledge, networks and skills to transform themselves and the world around them.
The Social Impact Hub supports students and the wider London Business School (LBS) community to learn more about making a positive difference to society and the environment. This is run by the Student-led Initiatives team, in partnership with the Social Impact and Impact Consulting Clubs, and the Wheeler Institute for Business and Development. Students can get involved with the Social Impact Hub in four ways:
Events - The Social Impact Club holds events throughout the year that give participants an opportunity to hear from organisations on what social impact means to them. They also host a conference once a year that is open to the public.
Consulting projects - The Impact Consulting Club runs projects, headed by experienced consultants, that are designed to give students consulting practice by providing pro bono strategy consultancy services to not for profits and non-governmental organisations. Past clients include the United Nations, the British Red Cross and the Cherie Blair Foundation as well as smaller social entrepreneurs looking to hone and scale their impact.
Competitions - there are opportunities to put social impact skills to the test as part of international business school competitions. These include the Clean Tech Challenge and the competition run by MIINT, the MBA Impact Investing Network and Training
Bespoke initiatives - students regularly launch new initiatives and we support these to create new learning opportunities.
